On January 13, 2016, the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Army General Sergei Shoigu, opened the military-historical complex "Guerrilla Village".
The complex includes 17 objects: “Headquarters dugout”, “School of raiders”, “Red Corner”, “Bath”, sleeping dugout, weapons and ammunition depot, and e.t.c. Our complex is a collective image of all the partisan villages that existed during the Great Patriotic War. For the convenience of examination by visitors, the facilities are built in the form of dugouts, but the decoration and interior design are recreated from photographs and memories of participants in the guerrilla movement.
The program of the “Guerrilla Village” patriotic- educational project includes visiting and taking a view of the facilities of the complex both in general, and with a detailed examination of each facility, accompanied by a guide who tells in detail about the history of the guerrilla movement, about the legendary guerrilla warriors and their feats, as well as about life and off-duty life of the guerrilla groups.
Duration of the tour is 30 minutes.
There are thematic tours, designed for different categories of visitors:
In a thematic tour "The People's Avengers" the guide in a more accessible and entertaining way will tell schoolchildren about the legendary guerrillas and their exploits, about the children in guerrilla detachments and about the difficult conditions in which the partisans lived and fought.
«Stout of heart»
In the thematic tour “Strong in spirit”, the guide will tell middle and high school students about the historical complex “Guerrilla Village” and its purpose. The main emphasis will be placed on the role of youth in the guerrilla movement and on the morale of the fighters of the guerrilla detachments, which made it possible to endure all the life and struggle in the rear area of the enemy.
"The national struggle in the rear of the enemy"
Thematic tour "National struggle in the enemy's rear" for listeners and students of military schools will focus on the main tasks of the guerrilla movement during Great Patriotic War, namely, sabotage, intelligence and propaganda activities in the rear of the enemy. The guide will talk in detail about the main sabotage operations, weapons used, methods and means of sabotage.
After a pause in the visiting of exhibits and dugouts, guests of the Park can have a bite to eat with tasty army porridge or bread baked in our bakery. By the way, if your group is large, then an order for baking bread can be made in advance.
Walking around the “Guerrilla Village” you generally don’t have to fear cold weather, since there is a big hot samovar near the campfire zone, and you will be given a delicious rich herbal tea.
Children enjoy visiting the compound yard. It is understandable, a large family of rabbits live there together with their friendly neighbors: chickens, goats and sheep. They are always happy when visitors come. They enjoy carrots, cabbage and other delicacies. And very soon, when horse facilities will be ready beautiful and graceful horses will join compound yard animals.
